Prison Break Season 3 - Sona Arc Summary

Michael Scofield, Alexander Mahone, Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell, and Brad Bellick are incarcerated in Sona, a prison run by the inmates where personal disputes are settled in a deadly ring—two inmates duel until one is dead.

Lincoln Burrows tries to arrange a transfer for Scofield, but is intercepted by Susan B. Anthony, a woman working for The Company. She reveals that the organization is holding L.J. and Sara Tancredi hostage and promises to release them only if Scofield helps break out an inmate named James Whistler within one week.

Inside Sona, the inmate leader Norman "Lechero" St. John informs Scofield that he knows his true identity and will not allow another escape to happen. Bagwell gains favor and becomes one of Lechero's henchmen, while Bellick is forced into degrading labor, cleaning toilets.

While cleaning, Bellick is secretly fed by a man hidden behind a wall in exchange for running errands. Meanwhile, Lechero orchestrates a conflict between another inmate and Scofield, forcing them to fight in the ring.

Bellick places a hidden note in each fighter's pocket. During the fight, Scofield gains the upper hand, but the opponent pulls out a knife—an illegal move—before Mahone steps in and kills him.

Lincoln informs Scofield of The Company's demand. Outside the prison, a mysterious woman recovers the note from the fallen inmate's body.
